MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Agriculture Authorities are urging Diaspora Liberian experts and other professionals to invest in Liberia’s Agriculture Sector.

The Minister of Agriculture, Alexander Nuetah, called on diaspora Liberians to use their expertise, money, and international connections to boost the country’s food security.

Dr. Nuetah assured them of the Liberian government’s commitment to provide an enabling climate to attract more private investments in agriculture.

The agriculture minister said:” Active involvement of diaspora Liberians will transform agriculture and also boost food production and reduce importation of the country’s staple food, rice”.

According to a dispatch, Minister Nuetah remarked at the 2026 Annual Diaspora Conference held at the weekend in Washington, D.C., the United States of America.
