Pres. Boakai Calls on Liberians to Reject Division, Hatred…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai is calling on Liberians to reject all forms of division, hatred, corruption, and violence that threaten the peace and stability of the country.

The President said:” If Liberia must progress, citizens must embrace attributes that project positivity and a culture of national belonging”.

President Boakai made the remarks on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the observance of Liberia’s 179th Flag Day celebrations in Monrovia.

The Liberian Leader said:” Citizens must begin to unite and build a Liberia where road connectivity, healthcare and delivery, and access to quality education are improved for all”.

He also cautioned young people to reject the intake of illegal drugs and substances and become strong drivers of positive change.
