MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) has officially commenced the Annual Manpower Planning and Budget Hearings for Fiscal Year 2027, with several Government Spending Entities.
The hearings, which began on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, are being conducted as part of the government’s annual process of assessing manpower needs across the public sector.
It is also aimed at ensuring that the proposed staffing requirements are aligned with institutional mandates, workforce needs, and available national resources.
Appearing on day one of the exercise were the CSA, the Office of the Vice President, the Ministries of Information and Foreign Affairs, and the General Services Agency, among others.
During the hearings, the institutions presented their manpower requirements before the CSA and justified proposed positions and staffing needs.
The process allows the CSA to examine proposed personnel structures, assess existing staffing levels, identify critical manpower gaps, and determine whether requested positions are adequately justified.
