The hearings, which began on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, are being conducted as part of the government’s annual process of assessing manpower needs across the public sector.

It is also aimed at ensuring that the proposed staffing requirements are aligned with institutional mandates, workforce needs, and available national resources.
