Residents of Vahun District to Benefit from Electricity 1st Time Ever

LOFA COUNTY, MONROVIA-Residents of Vahun District in Lofa County are poised to benefit from electricity for the first time since the establishment of the district.

It followed an assessment conducted by the Liberia Electricity Corporation.

According to our Correspondent, the initiative aims to provide electricity to residents of the area as part of the government’s plan to provide electricity across Liberia.

Residents of the district say that since the establishment of the area, it is under President Joseph Boakai’s leadership that the district is expected to benefit from an electricity supply.

Meanwhile, local authorities and residents of the area have lauded the government and LEC for taking such a bold step to supply Vahun District with electricity.
