MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Office of the Cabinet at the Ministry of State has commenced a two-day 2026 mid-year high-level engagement and training session for focal persons from ministries and agencies of the Liberian Government.
The training focuses on implementing the Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS) across various ministries and agencies within the governance process.
In her opening remarks, the Coordinator for PMCS at the Cabinet Office, Atty. Jemmima Harris said,” The training will provide the opportunity to reflect, identify, and review progress made during the past year”.
Atty. Harris also noted that the training session will allow participants to share practical solutions on lapses found in the implementation process of some key components of the PMCS.
She described the PMCS Focal Persons as critical backbones in the effective delivery of PMCS targeted goals within their respective government institutions.
Atty. Jemmima Harris said the quality of the data collected by PMCS Focal Persons will directly influence national decision-making processes and augment the government’s ability to monitor progress of the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).
