MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Labour Minister, Cllr. Cooper Kruah, has reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to fully achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number Nine.

Goal Number Nine of the Sustainable Development Goals calls for industrial innovation and technological advancement.

Speaking recently in New York, Minister Kruah named climate resilience, food security, quality education, and improved health systems as some elements employed by the government to achieve this goal.

He disclosed that President Joseph Boakai has encouraged innovation among young entrepreneurs through technical and vocational training and by creating the enabling environment for investment.

Minister Kruah said:” These measures are intended to ensure growth and protect Liberia’s resources while creating decent employment opportunities for the youth”.
