MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has officially launched the 2026 National Time Release Study Report of Liberia to enhance trade facilitation in the Country.
The report serves as a baseline for measuring clearance times, allowing Liberia to track its progress and set precise goals for improvement.
Speaking at the launch of the instrument Monday, July 13, 2026, in Monrovia, Liberia Revenue Authority Commissioner (LRA) General, Dorbor Jallah, disclosed ongoing major reforms at the Authority aimed at boosting revenue mobilization.
According to Commissioner Jallah, the LRA is currently establishing its Automated Customs Data System across the Country, as part of the Authority’s ongoing reforms.
The LRA Commissioner stated that these reforms are enshrined in the Authority’s strategic plan, which aligns with the Liberian government’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.
Meanwhile, United Kingdom Deputy Head of Mission and Development Counsellor, Joanna Markbreiter, has re-emphasized the UK’s unflinching support for Liberia’s development drive.
According to Madam Markbreiter, the government and people of the United Kingdom are ready to work along with relevant institutions in Liberia to improve every sector of the Country.
The United Kingdom Deputy Head of Mission and Development Counsellor also thanked the Liberian Government for the launch of the 2026 National Time Release Study Report.
She believes the report has given first-hand information to the Liberian Government and partners to improve trade facilitation and accrue more revenue for the advancement of the Country.
