Concern for Youth Progress Holds 5th Drug Symposium

PAYNESVILLE CITY, LIBERIA- “Concern for Youth Progress” (CONYOP Liberia), an anti-drug campaign organization, has held its 5th Drug Symposium in Paynesville City.

The event, held in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, is aimed at strengthening the fight against drug abuse among young people.

In remarks, Youth and Sports Director for Youth Development, Samuel Kpartor, urged young people to stay away from drugs and make responsible decisions.

Kpartor called for stronger collaboration among government institutions, communities, schools, and families to address the growing challenge of substance abuse.

Meanwhile, the symposium also recognized several individuals as Anti-Drug Heroes and Champions for their outstanding efforts in promoting drug prevention and youth empowerment.
