Careysburg City Mayor Raises Concerns over Growing Land Crisis in Township

CAREYSBURG, MONTSERRADO COUNTY-Careysburg City Mayor Edwin Urey has raised concerns over the growing land crisis in the area.

Mayor Urey disclosed that currently more than forty residents are in a conflicting situation over multiple land sales.

According to him, the persistent land crisis is building fear among residents.

He told our correspondent that parties to land crises in most cases are involved in physical assaults, fighting, and abuses, among others.

Meanwhile, Mayor Edwin Urey has called on the Liberia Land Authority to conduct a comprehensive investigative survey to resolve the disputes and prevent future conflicts.
