Pres. Boakai Holds Discussions with Pres. Erdogan of Turkey

MONROVIA, LIBRERIA-President Joseph Boakai has held discussions with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, aiming at strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

As part of his official visit to Turkey, President Boakai is also advancing discussions to promote Liberia’s investment opportunities, including other key sectors of governance.

An Executive Mansion release says the meeting between the two leaders focused on expanding collaboration in the areas of infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, energy, and technical cooperation.

The release also noted that President Boakai is expected to hold sideline engagements with prominent Turkish business leaders and investors to showcase Liberia’s investment potential.

According to the release, these meetings are expected to foster stronger economic partnerships and attract investment in priority sectors of the Liberian economy.
