MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has commended Germany’s outgoing Ambassador to Liberia, Jakob Haselhuber, for strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries.

President Boakai praised the longstanding partnership between Liberia and Germany, describing bilateral relations as strong and cordial.

The President made the remarks on Thursday when Ambassador Haselhuber paid him a farewell visit at his Rehab residence in Paynesville.

The Liberian Leader acknowledged Germany’s continued support for Liberia’s development, particularly its contributions to building capacity in key sectors of government.

In response, Ambassador Haselhuber thanked President Boakai, the Government, and the people of Liberia for the hospitality extended to him throughout his five-year diplomatic mission.
