MONROBIA, LIBERIA- The Justice Ministry says the General Manager of GLS Menzies, Paul King, has voluntarily surrendered to the Joint National Security Investigative Task Force.
King, who was previously named a person of interest in the June 8 seizure of cocaine at the Roberts International Airport, is now in the custody of joint security investigators.
According to a Justice Ministry release, King is cooperating with the ongoing investigation aimed at identifying all those connected to the importation, concealment, transportation, and attempted export of the cocaine.
The Justice Ministry emphasized that King’s cooperation does not constitute a finding of guilt and that he will be afforded all constitutional rights, including due process and access to legal counsel.
Meanwhile, the Ministry is urging all remaining persons of interest still at-large to surrender to the Joint National Security Investigative Task Force.
