Criminal Court ‘A’ Rejects Request to Withdraw Previous Decision Denying Autopsy Report on Toni Jackson’s Remains

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘A’, on Tuesday, May 26, rejected Prosecution’s request to rescind its previous decision denying the autopsy report on the remains of Toni Jackson, wife of Samuel Jackson.

Judge Roosevelt Willie’s action was due to the Defense Lawyers’ request that they wanted an autopsy of their own on the remains of the deceased, which the State rejected.

Judge Willie ruled on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, that the autopsy work done by the State’s Pathologist on the remains of Toni Jackson at the St. Moses Funeral Home is null and void, and cannot be used in the Samuel Jackson’s case.

The Judge said,” Other work to visit and document the crime scene through photographs, video, and written notes, collecting and preserving evidence and samples, analyzing physical evidence, and searching for material clues, are declared authentic and valid to be used when the case begins”.

But State Lawyers took an exception to Judge Willie’s ruling, saying that they will take advantage of the law controlling, meaning that they could take flight before the Justice in Chambers at the Supreme Court to overturn Judge Roosevelt Willie’s decision.
