MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has described the prayer breakfast as a powerful example of national unity void of personal interest and politics.
President Joseph Boakai wants Liberians to pray for the nation’s growth and prosperity irrespective of religious and political beliefs.
He said,” Liberia as a nation can only thrive if all of its people unite, pray and put their differences aside, describing prayer as the ultimate power that connects people, nations and communities”.
The President also called for unity among citizens, emphasizing that unity remains key to achieving absolute peace and progress.
President Boakai was speaking at a Special Presidential Prayer Breakfast in Congo Town on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The Liberian Leader extolled the organizers of the program, Evangelical Seminary of West Africa, for such impact event.
Meanwhile, President Boakai has recommitted the government to transforming Liberia through the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.
The Liberian Leader also reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening governance, improving infrastructure, and expanding economic opportunity.
According to the Liberian Chief Executive, this will help in positioning Liberia for sustainable growth and progress, noting that Liberia’s development cannot be achieved without the collective efforts of all citizens.
