MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai and delegation have arrived in Sacramento, the capital of the U.S. State of California, ahead of the 34th Africa Peace Awards.
President Boakai is expected to deliver the keynote address at the event.
A statement from the Executive Mansion in Monrovia said the Liberian Leader will receive the Peace Leadership Award.
The Award is in recognition of President Boakaai’s commitment to peacebuilding, democratic governance, and inclusive development in Liberia and across Africa.
President Boakai is also expected to engage in a series of high-level meetings with partners and stakeholders to strengthen bilateral relations and advance cooperation in key sectors.
Members of the President’s delegation are the Director General of the Cabinet, Nathaniel Kwabo, Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah, and Agriculture Minister Dr. Alexander Nuetah.
