MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Gabriel L. Dennis Foreign Service Institute is launching the George Wallace Ambassadorial Lecture Series in Monrovia.
The program stands as a flagship intellectual initiative of the Foreign Service Institute.
It is designed to foster meaningful dialogue between seasoned diplomats and aspiring student diplomats on pressing issues shaping international diplomacy.
The Director General of the Institute, Reginald Goodridge, said, “Naming the series after Ambassador George Wallace reflects his distinguished record as Liberia’s longest-serving diplomat”.
The tribute to Ambassador Wallace aligns with the vision of Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti, who has championed efforts to rebrand Liberia and position the country for greater international recognition and prosperity.
Minister Beysolow-Nyanti described Ambassador George Wallace as holding a special place in her heart, and fully endorsed the honor, describing it as “historic and memorable”.
