MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Defense Minister Geraldine George has been inducted into the International Hall of Fame of the United States Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC).

The honor bestowed upon Minister George is in recognition of her distinguished service and exemplary leadership in the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL), and her outstanding contributions to national defense, international cooperation, and the promotion of global peace and security.

According to the release, Minister George is a 2013 graduate of the Command and General Staff College and holds the distinction of being the sixth Liberian, and only female officer to have graduated from the institution.

The release noted that throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, integrity, and unwavering dedication to duty, rising to positions of significant responsibility and influence.

It further noted that her induction reflects great credit to the AFL and the country as a whole.

The honor will further strengthen Liberia’s standing within the international military community.
