Gender Ministry Seeks Support of Youths in Fight against Sexual Gender-Based Violence

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Gender Ministry is craving the support of young people to fight against Sexual Gender-Based-Violence in the country.

Gender Minister, Gbeme Horace-Kollie, wants Liberia’s youthful population work along with the government in finding a solution to the menace.

Minister Horace-Kollie spoke on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in an ELBC interview minutes after participating in a youth policy dialogue in Monrovia.

The event was organized by sexual Reproductive Health Rights Champions in Collaboration with the Gender Ministry.

The Gender Minister thanked participants, while pledging the government’s zero-tolerance against gender based-violence.
