Liberia Revenue Authority Gets 3.4 million USD as Part of Cavalla Resources Incorporated’s Royalty Payment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has disclosed receipt of three- point-four million United States dollars from the Cavalla Resources Incorporated as part of the company’s royalty payments to the Liberian Government.

LRA Commissioner General, Dorbor Jallah, said,” The amount covers payments for scientific research, surface rental fees, and social development contributions to Nimba and Grand Bassa Counties”.

According to Commissioner Jallah, the funds are currently being deposited into a consolidated government account, pending further action.

Commissioner Jallah disclosed on Thursday, February 19, 2026, when he appeared before the Plenary of the House of Representatives to provide updates on the financial and operational status of Cavalla Resources.

He further informed lawmakers that the company is up-to-date with its corporate social responsibility obligations to the Government.
