Health Ministry Begins First-Quarter 2026 Nat’l Drugs Distribution, Medical Supplies

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Health Ministry has commenced its first-quarter 2026 national distribution of drugs and medical supplies, reinforcing efforts to strengthen Liberia’s healthcare supply chain system.

The exercise is designed to ensure uninterrupted access to essential medicines across all public health facilities.

It forms part of the Ministry’s pharmacist division’s quarterly operations, which aim to maintain consistent availability of medicines and critical consumables in public health institutions nationwide.

According to a release from the Health Ministry, the current deliveries include essential medicines, laboratory consumables, and other critical materials needed to sustain both primary and secondary healthcare services throughout the quarter.

The distribution exercise is expected to continue until all remaining regions across the country receive their allocated consignments.

In the release, the Health Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring equitable access to life-saving medicines across all regions of the country, underscoring the importance of a reliable supply chain in delivering quality healthcare to all Liberians.
