MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has consoled former Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor on the passing of her son Charles Philip Taylor.
The President’s visit on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, is in the spirit of unity and respect for the former Vice President.
Charles Phipli Taylor, a master’s degree holder in Port Management, died on Tuesday, January 20, at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia, following a brief illness.
The Liberian Leader is being accompanied by several officials of the Government of Liberia.
