Ghana’s 1st Political, Economic Affairs Sec. Praises Liberia’s Rich History, Heartens African Leaders…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Ghana’s First Secretary for Political and Economic Affairs, Michael Dzamesi, says Liberia is a country of rich history in Africa that is well-positioned to attract increased tourism.

Dzamesi wants African leaders to accelerate Africa’s integration agenda to expose the natural beauty and hospitality of countries in the region, especially Liberia.

Africa’s integration Agenda is a long-term strategic framework aimed at building an integrated, prosperous, and peaceful continent through economic and political unity that focuses on creating free movement and a common currency.

He has since assured Liberians of his country’s readiness to work with the Liberia National Tourism Authority, under Ghana’s new tourism program for the shared benefits of both nations.

The Ghanaian Envoy’s statement is contained in a release from the Liberia National Tourism Authority, after meeting with the Director General of the entity, Princess Cooper.
