Nat’l Transit Authority Outlines Progress Made across the Country

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Transit Authority (NTA) has outlined key achievements made in improving public transportation across Liberia.

NTA Managing Director, Edmund Forh, said,” The NTA Management has increased fuel capacity from ten to thirty-five thousand gallons to ensure the smooth maintenance and operation of buses”.

Ford also disclosed that the Management has budgeted for employees’ health insurance, noting that the benefit was not provided under the previous administration.

The NTA Managing Director told the Information Ministry Press Briefing on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Monrovia, that the initiative is aimed at addressing health concerns and ensuring that employees remain fit and prepared for their duties.

Meanwhile, Edmund Forh has revealed plans to construct a modern terminal in Paynesville City.
