First Consignment of 285 yellow machines to Leave China for Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The first shipment of the two hundred eighty-five pieces of yellow machines has begun from three major ports across the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Government of Liberia, the equipment is being shipped from the Lianyungang Port in Jiangsu Province, Qingdao, and Jinan Ports in Shandong Province.

The equipment includes several pieces of bulldozers, excavators, fuel, water, and service trucks, among others.

The Deputy Minister of Public Works for Technical Services, Prince Tamba, said the first shipment will start on Friday, January 9, 2026, on board a cargo ship.

Minister Tamba disclosed that the cargo ship is expected to depart next week, Thursday, January 15, 2026, via the Lianyungang Port in Jiangsu Province.

According to the Deputy Public Works Minister, the equipment will take about 45 to 50 days to arrive at the Free Port of Monrovia.

Meanwhile, the first shipment includes nineteen bulldozers, excavators, low-bed trailers, fuel tankers, water tanks, service trucks, and twenty utility pickups.

Video footage, viewed by ELBC, shows that each piece of equipment is marked with the flags of the respective counties, indicating its place of operation.
