Gbarpolu County District Two Rep. Charges Mining Companies in the County to Support Gov.’s Efforts…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Gbarpolu County District Two Representative, Luther Collins, wants all mining companies operating in the County to buttress the government’s efforts in the rehabilitation of roads in the districts.

Our correspondent quotes Representative Collins as committing to working with mining companies passionate about carrying out development initiatives in the district.

Representative Collins also highlighted that continued engagement between him and the citizens of the district will enable him to hold mining companies accountable for their social corporate responsibilities to the area.

Meanwhile, representatives of various mining companies in the district have committed to communicating the Lawmaker’s desire to their respective bosses.

In another development, Gbarpolu County Senator, Gbotoe Kanneh, has made a donation of rice and 20-thousand Liberian dollars to the disabled community within the county.

Receiving the items, the coordinator of the disabled community, Sekou Sirleaf, thanked the Senator for the gesture.
