MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Grand Cape Mount County Senator, Darbah Varpilah, has termed Unity Party’s (UP) Fundraising and Homecoming Rally as a renewed commitment and shared determination to move Liberia forward.

Senator Varpilah said,” The ceremony was also a reflection of the difficulties experienced by the UP over the years”.

She spoke on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Party’s Homecoming and Fundraising Rally at its Congo Town National Headquarters.

Senator Varpilah recounted the sacrifices the UP-founding fathers made to add to the institution.

The Grand Cape Mount County Senator said,” Saturday’s gathering was a show of support and commitment to the future of the Party and the government”.

At the same time, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Thomas Fallah, has publicly declared his unflinching support for the UP and its government.

Deputy Speaker Fallah, a former member of the hierarchy of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), said,” My support for the UP and the government is deeply rooted in love for country”.

Speaking at the UP program, the Foya District Lawmaker urged the UP to work closely with former and current lawmakers who attended the program to attract their supporters.

The Deputy Speaker praised President Joseph Boakai for governing responsibly and tolerating the views of non-UP supporters.

At the ceremony, Representative Fallah presented a host of former and current lawmakers who publicly pledged their support to the Unity Party.
