Liberia’s Nat’l Broadcaster Sets Up 600 Watts TV Relay Transmission in Grand Bassa County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) is currently setting up a six-hundred-watt television relay transmission in Grand Bassa County to improve television access to the county.

The Deputy Director General for Technical Services of LBS, Borgfeldt Lloyd, disclosed that the initiative is part of efforts by the Management of LBS to take the national television to all fifteen counties.

Lloyd said,” The new six-hundred-watt television transmission will ensure adequate dissemination of the government of Liberia’s programs and policies in Grand Bassa County”.

He noted that similar installation work is expected to begin shortly in Bong County, to give citizens wider access to the national television.

Meanwhile, the Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System has promised to design programs that will highlight the voices of citizens and showcase the workings of the government and partners.
