Sen. Moye Welcomes Rep. Bility’s Construction of Bridge in Bong County…

Bong County Senator Prince Moye has welcomed the construction of a bridge in the county by the political leader of the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC), Representative Musa Bility.

Senator Moye was recently accused by Representatives Bility and Marvin Cole of masterminding the pause of the bridge construction project by the Ministry of Public Works.

In an ELBC interview on Monday, November 17, 2025, the Bong County Lawmaker termed the allegation as falsely misleading, saying that he believes in development politics.

Senator Prince Moye also disclosed plans to write the Ministry of Public Works and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Richard Koon, listing all other bridge projects to be constructed by the CMC Political Leader.

According to him, he will effectively use his proximately to the President to deliver for the people of Bong County.

At the same time, Senator Moye has described as provocative the latest move by Representative Bility in other counties under the guise of carrying on developments.

According to Senator Moye, the Nimba County Lawmaker is bitter due to the Government of Liberia’s decision to slash storage fees on petroleum products.

A report from the committee set up by the government recommended a reduction in storage fees from thirty-five to ten cents U.S. dollars per gallon, and the financing cost from four cents to one percent.

President Joseph Boakai subsequently endorsed the recommendations, lowering the storage fee to 0.05 cents USD.

In an interview on ELBC Radio on Monday, November 17, 2025, Senator claimed that Representative Bility is on a provocative spree, especially at Senators who advised the Executive to effectuate the new storage fee.

The Bong County Lawmaker urged members of the Judiciary to be mindful of the merits and its demerits of Representative Bility’s lawsuit against the decision of the government.

Senator Prince Moye said,” I will not be deterred by any political ploy, and I remain committed to serving the interests of the people of Bong County”.
