Liberia’s Justice Minister Stresses Gov.’s Vow to Prosecute Indicted Corrupt Officials

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Justice, Cllr. Oswald Tweh has reaffirmed the Government of Liberia’s commitment to firmly prosecute past and current officials who are indicted for corruption.

However, Cllr. Tweh said,” There are complexities to different legal trials”.

Minister Tweh assured Liberians that justice will be pursued and meaningful results will be realized before 2026.

According to him, the government, through the Ministry of Justice, is putting in place all lawful tactics, including secret investigations, forensic financial work, and witness protection, in order to secure sustainable legal outcomes.

Meanwhile, Justice Minister Oswald Tweh has called on Liberians to support the rule of law by reporting corruption cases and cooperating with investigators.
