Liberia’s Minister of State Designate Says Executive Mansion Renovation is One of His Key Priorities

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Minister of State for Presidential Affairs designate says the renovation of the Executive Mansion is one of the key deliverables his leadership intends to fulfill.

Speaking during his confirmation hearing at the Liberian Senate on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Capitol, Samuel Stevequoah said,” The renovation of key buildings will also be a priority”.

Stevequoah emphasized that the plan aligns with President Joseph Boakai’s vision to revitalize public infrastructure.

He also promised to foster a collaborative environment of mentorship, discipline, and dignity within the Office of the President.

If confirmed by the Liberian Senate, the Minister of State designate further assured to work closely with the Cabinet to strengthen cooperation and enhance accountability.

Samuel Stevequoah was nominated by President Joseph Boakai, following the death of Minister Sylvester Grigsby in early August this year.
