Liberia’s Foreign Minister Beysolow-Nyanti Receives Slovak Republic’s Honorary Consul

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow-Nyanti has received in audience the newly appointed Honorary Consul General of the Slovak Republic, Upjit Singh Sachdeva, commonly known as “Jeety”.

During the meeting held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Foreign Minister Beysolow-Nyanti welcomed Sachdeva to his new diplomatic role and extended heartfelt congratulations on his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic with residence in Monrovia.

She commended the Government of the Slovak Republic for strengthening bilateral relations with Liberia through the establishment of the Honorary Consulate.

Minister Beysolow-Nyanti underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between Liberia and the Slovak Republic, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange, to achieve the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.

In response, Honorary Consul Sachdeva expressed gratitude to the Slovak Government for the confidence reposed in him and to Foreign Minister Beysolow-Nyanti for the warm reception.

Upjit Singh Sachdeva pledged to work diligently to promote and protect the interests of the Slovak Republic, while fostering partnerships that will yield tangible benefits for both nations.
