Liberia Nat’l Fire Service to Take Decisive Measures…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) says it is taking decisive measures to safeguard the Country against potential fire disasters.

The LNFS said the decision was reached following the conclusion of a high-level conference in the United States, attended by the Agency’s Director General, Warsuwah Barvoul.

According to Mr. Barvoul, the conference was intended to harness the knowledge of firefighters in critical areas, including risk reduction.

The conference, which also focused on ethical leadership and accountability, was attended by several countries, with Liberia representing Africa.

Meanwhile, Mr. Barvoul has vowed to modernize the operations of the Liberia National Fire Service to meet current-day realities.
