Bureau of State Enterprises Suspends Human Resource Director Indefinitely…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Human Resources Director of the Bureau of State Enterprises has been indefinitely suspended, following an alleged breach of confidential payroll data.

The Director General of the Bureau, Acting Director General, Varlee Sanor, said,” The suspension stems from the unauthorized disclosure and circulation of the Bureau’s sensitive September Payroll Dummy to individuals who were not authorized to access the information”.

In a communication addressed to Madam Agatha Mulbah on Thursday, September 12, 2025, Sanor described the action as a serious violation of internal administrative policies, ethical standards, and professional conduct.

He said,” As the custodian of all employees’ information, the HR Head is entrusted with protecting such confidential documents”.

The Acting Director General added that, given the seriousness of the misconduct, the official has been suspended pending a full investigation.

Sanor disclosed that a three-person investigation committee has been established to look into the matter.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Director for the Human Resources Department has been requested to assume all duties and responsibilities effective immediately.
