U.S. Gov. Begins Progress Review in Liberia’s Transition …

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United States Government has begun reviewing progress in Liberia’s transition from aid toward trade and investment.

According to a press release, the U.S will expand cooperation in mining, energy, technology, and agriculture, due to interventions by the Liberian government in key areas.

The release quotes U.S Embassy Charge d’Affaires Joseph Zadrozny as highlighting America’s contribution to the Health Sector of Liberia for the well-being of its citizens nationwide.

Zadrozny reaffirmed America’s steadfast commitment to working with Liberia to identify ways to strengthen economic cooperation.

The U.S Envoy’s statement comes after he met with Liberia’s Finance Minister, Augustine Ngafuan, as part of the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s ongoing assessment.
