Liberia’s Health Ministry Breaks Ground for Modern Operating Theatre, Staff Quarters…

RIVERCESS COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Health, through the Rivercess County Health Team, has broken ground for the construction of a modern operating theatre and staff quarters at the Boegeezay Health Center in Doedian District, Rivercess County.

The infrastructure boost is a significant step in improving healthcare service delivery and patient outcomes for the people of the county.

According to a health ministry release, the Rivercess County Health Officer, Dr. Dyujay Karnga, lauded the ministry for its farsightedness in bringing relief to the people, especially in the district.

The release quotes Dr. Karnga as urging community dwellers to take ownership of the projects and support their sustainability.

The County Health Officer also commended the local leadership, through the office of the Superintendent, for the continuous partnership in strengthening health services in the county.

Meanwhile, Monweh District Superintendent Paul Sayuo, on behalf of the county Superintendent, pledged the community’s support and urged the residents to complement the efforts of the County Health Team and the Liberian government.
