Liberia Football Association 1st Division heavyweight LISCR FC have appointed Belgian tactician Alain-André Landeut as the club’s new head coach.
Coach Landeut, a UEFA A Licensed professional singed a one year deal with option for an extension on Wednesday at the LISCR FC head office.
A LISCR FC statement says ” Coach Landeut brings a wealth of experience to the Shipping Boys, having coached across various African leagues, including stints in Ghana, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Benin”.
The LISCR FC statement added that among his most notable achievements, Coach Landeut led DC Motema Pembe to victory in the Congolese FA Cup and guided Kiyovu Sports to win the Made in Rwanda Cup.
According to the former Liberian Champions, Coach Landeut’s appointment marks a new chapter for LISCR FC as the club continues to build a competitive and dynamic team on and off the pitch.
Coach Landeut expressed optimism about joining the Liberian giants, adding he looks forward to the new challenge.
The Belgium coach takes over from Gambian Coach Taphia Manneh who returned to the club in the last mid season.
