Liberia Broadcasting System Gets Multi-Purpose Outside Broadcast Van

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) has received a multi-purpose Outside Broadcast Van from the Chinese Government as part of the package for the new state-of-the-art television and radio coverage ongoing expansion project at the LBS compound in Paynesville City.

Receiving the donation, LBS Director General, Eugene Fahngon, expressed excitement, emphasizing that the System is progressing with the groundbreaking of new sub-stations in Nimba and Grand Cape Mount Counties.

Director Fahngon said,” It is the right of the Liberian people to be informed, according to Article 15 of the Liberian Constitution, and that it is the responsibility of LBS to deliver on the mandate.”

The LBS boss said the OB Van comes at a crucial time when the country needs it the most to extend its broadcast across all fifteen counties and beyond.

Mr. Fahngon called on all Liberians to support the efforts of President Joseph Boakai for the development of the country and for the good of the people.
