Pres. Boakai Makes Further Nominations and Appointments

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has made additional nominations and appointments in the Liberian government affecting the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), Ministries of Justice and Internal Affairs, the National Lottery Authority, and the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC).

Those appointed are Patrick Honnah, Commissioner, LTA, Angela Cassell Bush, Commissioner, LTA; and Ben Fofana, Commissioner, LTA.

President Boakai also nominated Cora Konuwa as Deputy Justice Minister for Administration and Richmond Fleming as Commissioner for Schieffelin Township.

The Executive Mansion named Peter Solo as Director General-designate, National Lottery Authority, and Ciapha Gbollie as Board Member of the LEC.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued recently, these appointments and nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate, where applicable.

The President expressed confidence in the qualifications, integrity, and experience of the nominees and highlighted the importance of their timely confirmation to support ongoing reform and development efforts across the country.

President Joseph Boakai also called on all appointed officials of the government to continue demonstrating diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to the country.
