The National Lottery Authority and the Liberia Maritime Authority have been crowned as Champions of the 2025 Intra Governmental League kickball and football league respectively.
The National Lottery Authority held on the defeat tournament organizers the Youth and Sports Ministry in shoot outs in the kickball grand finale.

Full and extra time ended 3-3 home-runs in that kickball final.
The Youth and Sports Ministry had to labor from 3-0 down to force extra innings but did not survive the shootout.
National Lottery Authority Director General Reginald Kpan Nagbe was upbeat with the win, saying his entity won because it has placed serious emphasis on improving the Kickball game in Liberia and beyond.
He said “We will celebrate this tournament across all of our suboffices for those of our employees who are not in Monrovia to feel part of the success”
Also speaking to ELBC Sports, was Lottery Kickball head coach, Archie Moore who said he was out of thoughts.
“I just don’t know what to say” Coach Moore managed to say.
In the football final, Liberia Maritime Authority retained the title for the second season running, narrowly defeating first time finalists, National Telecommunication Authority 1-0 at the SKD main pitch.
Boakai Foday corrected an LTA defensive blunder to give his side the only goal that gave the Marime boys the cup.
Both teams had created chances in the first half, but it was the Marime Boys who found the back of the net in the second half.
Marime coach Thomas Watson told our sports microphone it was not a strange thing winning the cup.

Liberia Telecommunication Authority marksman, Peter Diggs deservingly won the most valuable player of the tournament.
Youth and Sports Minister, Cllr. Cole Bangalu interacting with the media at the end of competition said, it was a great tournament, and the Ministry will continue to improve on staging the event. He commended the participating teams for their disciplinary attitudes during the fray.
