Kickball Title Race Gets Tighter

Defending Kickball Champions Vision Sisters have moved level points with Royal Sisters at the top of the Liberia Kickball Federation National Lottery Authority League.

Vision Sisters Saturday punished a lackadaisical Ask Sisters 6-0 home runs to move on 29 points.

The defeat was the heaviest loss for Ask Sisters since their establishment.

Royal Sisters, who had been at the top of the table for a month now, had to labor very hard to keep themselves at the top of the table on Saturday, coming from a home run down to force Shooting Stars to a 2-2 draw.

That result gives them 29 points, level with Vision Sisters, but a superior home-run difference puts Royal Sisters in first place.

CYE remained in sixth place despite a 4-2 home run victory over Brazilian Girls.

CYE’s pitcher and captain, Alane Koffa, was a thorn in the flesh of the Brazilian Girls with her tricky pitching and smart defending.

With three games remaining for each team, the title race is still wide open between the top six teams in the league.

CYE, Destiny KC, Ask Sisters, and Shooting Stars call overtake the Vision and Royal in 2nd and 1st places if they can collect wins in their last games and hope for defeats for the top two sides.

The Liberia Kickball Federation 2025 League season, sponsored by the Liberia National Lottery Authority,  features 19 teams in the first division and 22 teams in the second division.

The 2025 League season sees an increase in the number of clubs and sub-associations across the country.
