MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation-LWSC Managing Director, Mohammed Ali, is leading a high-power delegation to the Southeast, for a two-week feasibility study.

The study is aimed at extending pipe-borne water to Southeastern Liberia with the LWSC’s assessment team comprising engineers and policymakers.

In a release Wednesday, the LWSC said the team will identify areas for the construction of a pipe network, groundwater system, and water purification infrastructure.

It is also expected to ascertain water quality analysis, assess communities to build public kiosks, and identify public structures desirous of water connectivity.

Meanwhile, the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation has vowed to rehabilitate and construct water systems in the fifteen counties before the end of 2029.
