MONROVIA, LIBERIA, The World Bank Group is expected to officially launch the Seventh Edition of the Liberia Economic Update this Monday, November 2, in Monrovia.

The launch will take place under the theme:” Beyond Growth: Addressing Structural Constraints to Job-Rich Growth in Liberia”.

The report examines why Liberia’s recent economic growth has not been translated into broad-based poverty reduction and job creation.

It also examines the oversight and performance of state-owned enterprises and sets out a reform agenda to address fiscal risks and support more inclusive growth.

The World Bank said it looks forward to sharing the report’s findings and discussing their implications for Liberia’s development.
