MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Supreme Court of Liberia has barred three Attorneys at Law from sitting its legal exams.

Attorneys Alphonso Wolwor, Patterson Blamo, and Alexander Saylee were banned for dishonesty and fraudulent acts.

The three lawyers allegedly submitted fake petitions to the Court, claiming that they had met the five-year legal requirement for admission to the Supreme Court Bar.

The Supreme Court said it will not sit its legal exams until October 2027, warning it will not entertain lawyers with tinted characters coming before it.

The three lawyers were among sixty-three attorneys at Law who filed a petition before the Court to be admitted as Counselors at Law.

In another development the President of the Grand Gedeh County

Bar Association (GGBA), Cllr. Kanio Bar Gbala has reaffirmed the Bar’s commitment to the promotion of the rule of law.
