Nimba University Lecturer Allegedly Chops Off Woman’s Hand in Ganta…

NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A man believed to be a lecturer of the Nimba University in Ganta, Nimba County, Daniel Tokpah, is facing police inquiry for reportedly cutting off the left hand of a woman.

According to ELBC Nimba County Correspondent, the gruesome act by suspect Daniel triggered intense violence, resulting in an arson attack on his residence by angry residents.

The residents have so far condemned the act and called for speedy justice for the victim.

Eyewitnesses to our Correspondent that the woman was allegedly attacked by suspect Daniel after the woman passed in his yard.

Meanwhile, the victim is currently undergoing treatment, while the culprit is expected to be forwarded to court following a formal charge by the police.
