MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United States Government has expressed confidence in the Boakai-led Administration to promote transparency and accountability.

US Embassy Charge d’Affaires Catherine Rodriguez said:” The US is delighted over President Boakai’s call for audit across all sectors of the Government of Liberia.”

Madam Rodriguez also called on the Government to act on audit findings and recommendations to make appropriate interventions as critical remedies in public service.

She made the remarks on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Congo Town when she launched the National Dialogue organized by USAID Local Empowerment for Accountability and Decentralization (LEAD) Activity.

The US Embassy Charge d’ Affaires added that the United States Government looks forward to engaging with the new administration to help improve fiscal transparency.
