RIVER GEE COUNTY, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has received commendations from residents of River Gee County for the recent nomination of Local Government officials.

Recently, President Boakai nominated Mike Swengbe as Superintendent, Alex Hinneh as Assistant Superintendent for Development, and Evelyn Dweh as Assistant Superintendent for Fiscal Affairs, among others.

According to ELBC River Gee Correspondent, the President’s nomination of County officials resonates well with the citizens, as they include the three districts.

Our Correspondent quotes the citizens who spoke on the local radio station as saying the move will promote development, given the geographical balance of the nomination.

Meanwhile, the citizens have vowed to work with local officials to fast-track development in River Gee County.
