Education Ministry Recommits to Effecting Revised Nat’l Policy on Girl’s Education

GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education has announced its commitment to the full implementation of the Revised National Policy on Girls’ Education.

Education Minister Dr. Jarso Jallah said:” Under the Policy, the Ministry will ensure the promotion of gender parity in all schools.

According to ELBC Reporter, Dr. Jarso committed on Tuesday, March 25, 2024, during education stakeholders’ engagement in Grand Kru County.

Minister Jallah said:” The Ministry’s policy on girls’ education is a national endeavor aimed at curbing widespread and constant female drop-outs at the Junior and Secondary levels.

The Education Ministry Boss also hailed local Education Authorities in Grand Kru County for gains made over the years, pledging her administration’s support to address short and long-term challenges confronting the Education Sector.
