Monrovia – Liberia, Tuesday, February 13, 2024 – Nimba County District 3 Representative, Nehker Gaye has hailed the special relationship between Liberia and the Peoples Republic of China.

Representative Gaye expressed the hope that such friendship continues to grow in a way that will yield mutual benefits for the two governments and people.

The Nimba County Lawmaker spoke to ELBC recently at programs marking Chinese New Year Day celebration in Paynesville.

He wants the government explore new fronts in its cooperation with China in order to achieve its ARREST Agenda.

“As a Chinese Trained Scholar, i am happy to be here and wish the Chinese people happy Lunar Year. Thanks to the Ambassador for this opportunity. We hope Liberia and China will continue to build their relationship to new levels and tap into such friendship in a bid to achieve the government’s development agenda”.

Representative Gaye then lauded the Chinese government for affording him the opportunity to study in their Country, something he said, made him a better person.
