United Methodist University Pres. Challenges Graduates…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The President of the United Methodist University (UMU) is challenging graduates of the institution to continue being the light that shines for all.

Rev. Dr.Yah Gonway-Gono said:” The light which removes darkness is capable of helping graduates become meaningful contributors to nation-building.”

Dr. Gonway-Gono also admonished the graduates to be compassionate, understanding, and forgiving as they go into the larger society.

She then encouraged the 19th graduating class to keep an open mind in their journey for better opportunities.

The UMU President made the remarks on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the 19th Commencement Convocation at the United Methodist University in Lower Margibi County.
