Vice Pres. Koung Challenges 55th Nat’l Legislature to Prioritize Citizens’ needs

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Vice President Jeremiah Koung wants members of the 55th National Legislature to prioritize the needs of the people for the growth and development of the Country.

Vice President Koung said:” Liberians are eager for change to improve their lives under the UP-led Administration.”

He called on the Liberian Senate to promote, accountability, and respect for the rule of law, and job opportunities as crucial expectations of the citizenry.

The Liberian Vice President also noted that the citizens are demanding the rebirth of the merit-based system in the public sector, the enactment of laws, and the implementation of policies that address their socio-economic needs.

Vice President Jeremiah Koung spoke on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Chambers of the Liberian Senate.
